Student Activity Center – The Nerve Center of BMIT
Student Activity Center is an extension of the
BMIT vision to produce dynamic engineers who make a mark wherever they go.
Started as a student’s organization to develop their extra-curricular
skills, it has become the most happening place of the campus now. As is
most evident, the present corporate world is not looking for technocrats
alone but for technical people with well-rounded personalities. Complete
human beings having knowledge, skill, attitude, talent and above all
ethics.
SAC comprises of five streams basically - Technical, Cultural, Sports,
Personality Development and Special Interests. These streams have
presently twelve clubs under their umbrella viz.
Membership to these clubs is open to all the students of BMIT. All BMIT students are members of atleast two clubs, choosing according to their own interest. It is mandatory for all clubs to have one event each month, thus providing the students a platform to showcase their skill. Each student is encouraged to take part in the activities, as co-ordinator or participant.
